How to make a custom hat?

I saw some custom hats for Worms Mayhem but I was wondering how to make one myself but the only video showing how to make one was absolutely no help at all. So does anyone know how to make a hat?

Making your own hat is a bit complex process.
It is easier to manipulate with in-game objects and by downloading custom hats - from someone who really knows how to make one.
You probably need 3D's Max Studio program, and/or Xom view.

Some users posted it is possible to load .xom files with xom view and replace/modify them in program.
So try that out.

Also, there is a great program called Hat loader which really lets you manipulate with every aspect of hats.

You could try tweaking hats ( to make it bigger, different colour etc. ) - attachments tweaking.
