How to find list of particle effects and use them on weapon

LEts start.
-----------------------
Open your Tweak Folder where you installed worms and open Part twk.xml

-----------------------
You will see
<UintResources href='Tweak Editor Version'/>
<UintResources href='TwkEdVer.ANDYPARTTWK'/>
-----------------------
After those TwkEdver files you will see

<ContainerResources href='WXPA_AcidRain'/>
<ContainerResources href='WXPA_Blood'/>
<ContainerResources href='WXPA_FireBase'/>
<ContainerResources href='WXPA_FireBase_SmallFlames'/>
<ContainerResources href='WXPA_FireCollision'/>
<ContainerResources href='WXPA_FireTall'/>
<ContainerResources href='WXPA_Forcefield'/>
<ContainerResources href='WXPA_Jumper'/>
........
----------------------------
Now each of those WXP_name is particle effect.
Copy one effect you want.
Example:
WXPA_FireBase

---------------------
Now open your Weaptwk.xml file and search for weapon you
want to add effect.
Example:CTRL F Bazooka
After few matches i stop on
<XContainerResourceDetails id='kWeaponBazooka'>

-----------
Then i search for
<DetonationFx>
------------
It will display

<DetonationFx>_Cureent Effect_</DetonationFx>

Just paste between Detonationfx lines file name you copyed and paster it.
You will have that effect on detonation.

Do same for other weapons

i didn't found anything like wxpa_effects

i just have WXP and WXPF and WXPL effects
and i tried them all in
DetonationFx and LaunchFx lines and they didn't work
they only work in arielFx line
??????????????????????????????????????????????????

what should i do to make'em work in DetonationFx and LaunchFx lines

Can you show me a line of one of your effects edit. Maybe then it would be easier to help.

<LaunchFX>WXPL_CarpetClouds</LaunchFX>
<ArielFX>WXP_Electrical_Sparking</ArielFX>
<DetonationFX>WXPF_RedBigGlow</DetonationFX>

dude in the parttwk.xml file there's no WXPA_effects

there's only WXP, WXPL and WXPF effects

the WXPs only worked in <ArielFX> line
and the WXPL AND WXPF effects didn't worked in the 3 lines
the Electrical_Sparking effect only worked in <ArielFX> line
and i tried alot of WXP , WXPL and WXPF effects in those 3 lines and they didn't worked
the only that worked with me is <ArielFX>WXP_Effect</ArielFX

Nothing of the lines <LaunchFX> exist in my weapon tweak, the closest thing to that is <LaunchSfx>
The other two lines look fine to me. But when I tried them as well, there was no effect (not even the default one :rollseyes: because I replaced it.) It must be the effect. Try something else like WXPF_Firework2 and tell me if you see anything then.

try to find those 3 lines (<LaunchFX>WXP and <DetonationFX>WXP and <ArielFX>WXP lines) in local.xml file
it's all about tweaking team weapons

u know how to tweak them right?
i know too but the problem is the EFFECTS!i!
THERE'S SOOOOO MUCH EFFECTS IN THE PARTTWK.XML FILE
WXPF , WXPL DIDN'T WORKED IN THOSE 3 LINES

Oh I thought you were trying to tweak something from WeapTwk. Sorry about that. But still, try a different effect and see if something will come up then.

wxpa is from _kilburn's tweak as I just realized. It is his way of saying that those are his custom effects.

This can lock the particle on the projectile.

LOC^=Locked .
