Iv'e try everything its doesnt work! to add this hats to worms 4 mayhem
I will show you how i used hats loader by alexbond to insert the hats in the game:

I have same situation as you, it doesn't work in game.
I think it needs to be converted somehow to support worms 4 with 3D software such as max 3D, maya...
Anyway, I'll give it one more shot and try with xom view.
I'll report results.

I'll try to experiment in Swift 3D and see the results.
Anyway, I have found several hats that appear on youtube and will post them tomorrow for download.

Hi, new to the forum but been modding W4 for a while, do you mind sending those WFUS hats to me too, I stopped modding Worms a few months back and didn't know that they managed make actual Custom Models, now I wanna add my face, that I made for rendering in 3D S Max!

Woops, LOL, I thought you were meaning the Worms Forts Hats, as in the default ones.

Do you have them, even the original files will be fine, as I want to learn how to extract them and make my own hats and clothes anyway!

Problem - Add\Replace hats from Worms forts Under Siege Empty DONE!!!

Here you go guys.

All the Worms FUS Hats converted except some of the random ones that appear throughout the game, here's a list:

ALL Egyptian.
ALL Medieval.
ALL Roman.
ALL Oriental.
Hat for FREEZE weapon.
Hat for PARACHUTE weapon.
Hat for JETPACK weapon.
Hat for CONSTRUCTION of buildings.
Some Random Hair that I found in the extra pack of files.


There are a few extra hats like the Crown of the God Worm and the Red and Yellow Freeze hat, but I'll get them working soon.


IMPORTANT INFO WHEN USING THESE HATS:

They fit properly with the following OFFSET data:

<PositionOffset x='0' y='-5' z='0' />
<OrientationOffset x='0' y='0' z='0' />
<ScaleOffset x='0.5' y='0.5' z='0.5' />

I've tested this on the Egyptian hats, but the others should work the same!

Anyone else looking to extract from WFUS, you have to open the file then find "XNode.XInteriorNode" You can export Xom3D from there. Then open a Worms 4 file and import from there!

Also, you can right click on hat you want your worm to wear (its text) and it will change position, size probably.

If it's multiple position alignments in the Tweak file that is.

Also you can switch between using Left and Right arrow keys, I like to use these cos I can go the other way as well LOL!

Any news on how to Add attachments WITHOUT the Hat loader, who was the original creator of the HatLoader? they should know what changed?


EDIT:

HATLOADER saved my hat as B06_Det_Detail05.xom ([W4FOLDER]\\data\Themes\Custom\Bank06)
The MESH_ID in "WormAttachments.xml" is: D06_05!!

Are the Custom Banks Files automatically loaded in game?
If they are the files can be accessed by placing them in the banks files.

I'm going to test CHANGING the bank to another as well as the Mesh Id to see if it accesses the correct mesh, if it does we can add hats and other attachments with NO LIMIT! (HOPEFULLY!)

Unfortunately it does Not.

Only the files that are already there load, That's why the hatloader has a file limit!

HATLOADER replaces custom bank files that are 4KB's big, they contain only a small Pyramid object inside the xom files so they aren't used in the game.

All of the custom files can be used as hats though, if you type mesh ID D01_01 you'll get a Spacecraft on your worms head!

Is there any way to add more custom banks? Like the W3DMap Loader does with textures!
